What would your advice be to someone interested in working at CMR?

My advice to someone interested in working at CMR would be to take the opportunity of joining a company that is focused on their people. Right now, it’s a great moment to join CMR as they grow and have a meaningful impact on that growth.

What motivates you every day?

What motivates me every day is learning and working on exciting projects.

How has your career progressed since joining?

Since I joined CMR I’ve had the opportunity to develop in areas of the business that I didn’t have experience on, so I was very Project Control focused, and CMR has allowed me to expand my planning knowledge and I’m sure other skills and areas of activities that would come after.

What skills do you need to be good at your job?

I think the skills you need to be good at my job are being communicative, proactive and having a good attention to detail.

How did you get into what you do?

How did I get in what I do? So I studied civil engineering in my hometown, Madrid, and moved to the UK at the start of my professional career. My first job was working as a bridge engineer and eventually decided to take a step into the project controls field on a major infrastructure project. I then joined CMR to continue gaining exposure to all project controls disciplines and developing in the industry.

When you’re not at work, what do you like to do?

Outside work, so in my free time I enjoy cooking, being outdoors, sometimes taking the camera with me to take some photos and spending time with my friends.
